Based in Brussels, Pascale has been a Senior Project Coordinator at the King Baudouin Foundation since 2002. Passionate about connecting people, policies and inclusive solutions, she has played a key role in fostering initiatives that address social justice and environmental challenges across Europe. Outside of work, she enjoys cycling and taking yoga retreats in remote natural settings.
“In 2019, together with several like-minded European foundations, we recognised a risk: the energy transition could place an even greater burden on vulnerable communities across Europe, while resistance from those most affected could weaken collective responses to the climate emergency. That concern became the spark for FETA.
“Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of hearing directly from people facing energy poverty, learning not only about the challenges they encounter but also about their strong commitment to making the transition work for everyone. It’s been inspiring to collaborate with dedicated partners who have transformed FETA’s unique listening exercise into meaningful policy impact.
“Today, I’m excited to begin FETA’s next chapter alongside the Schneider Electric Foundation and Fondazione Cariplo. Moving from policy to action, we are strengthening the link between people, policies and inclusive solutions, and I look forward to seeing local initiatives grow, flourish and create lasting change.”
