Participation enhances Trust

A review of the current literature on public participation in energy transitions by FETA’s project partner, the UK-based NGO Climate Outreach, demonstrates that participation enhances public trust and the perception of fairness and legitimacy in the transition process. However, as yet, the most vulnerable populations have tended to be left out of fair energy policymaking and development. Fair Energy Transition for All will change that by giving a voice to the unheard.
