“Energy is everywhere, but unfortunately energy isn’t always available to everyone. As we move forward with the green transition in the EU and across the globe, millions are still struggling to exercise their right to access clean energy.
“The challenge of bringing clean and renewable energy to all, creating a positive impact on nature and society, is what brought me to Energy Cities. My work with FETA has included selecting the initiatives that have been included in the Escalator programme. We identified more than 100 projects deploying solutions on the ground that could be escalated and replicated. From those, we selected 10, ensuring diversity in solution types, geography and challenges.
“Today, I’m supporting those Escalator participants on their learning journeys. It’s been a very rewarding adventure. The partnership is great, and everyone is highly motivated. The partnership is great. Everyone is highly motivated. We constantly see the impact that the FETA initiatives are having on the ground, improving the lives of hundreds of families and supporting a fair and greener energy transition across the EU.”
