The Escalator Programme

FETA supports 10 innovative solutions addressing energy poverty across Europe. Selected through a participatory process involving experts and 53 citizens from Poland, Denmark, Italy, and France, these projects work in diverse urban and rural contexts to improve access to affordable housing, energy, skills, information, and support services.

To strengthen their impact, the initiatives take part in the Escalator Programme, led by Genio. Through action research, capacity building, peer learning, site visits, dialogues with policy-makers, and mentoring from Schneider Electric employees, the programme helps participants:

  • Collaborate with public authorities
  • Turn local experience into policy influence
